Larimar has delicate veining running throughout it's surface, making each stone incredibly unique.

Larimar's name comes from a combination of the discoverer's daughters name, 'Larissa', and the Spanish word for sea, 'mar'.

Larimar is only found in the Dominican Republic, and is sometimes referred to as "Stefilia's Stone".
